Learning to write is a major effort for our little ones, where the head and hands do the hard work. The extra thick, waterproof Tri Winner coloured pencils from Eberhard Faber, which have been specially developed for children’s hands, really help with children’s first writing exercises.  The shatterproof lead produces the highest colour brilliance and has a particularly soft stroke.

The Old Masters already appreciated the special characteristics of tempera.

Eberhard Faber has now modernised the packaging of the traditional paints in handy, transparent plastic boxes with either 6 18ml tubes of tempura or 10 12ml tubes of tempura.

The lightfast, luminous shades can be applied homogenously and also mix well together.  When diluted with water they become a little lighter, but also go further.  Even after it has dried, you can continue working with the paint by adding water.

Many different materials, such as paper, card, wood, glass and hardboard are suitable painting surfaces for tempera paint from Eberhard Faber, whether you want to create watercolour, eye-catching or handcrafted effects.  Some surfaces produce a better result if they have been prepared for tempera application, for example by roughening or priming. After painting, tempura can be coated with clear varnish, which guarantees that it will last for longer.

Using oven-bake clay to creatively design figures, table decorations or jewellery is bang on trend and is becoming increasingly popular.  With Premo Accents, Eberhard Faber is expanding its Sculpey and Premo oven-bake clay range by 22 new effect colours to create special highlights.

Whether you are looking for an exotic alligator skin texture, spirited swirls or elegant lace border effects: it is child's lay to transfer these decorative designs to modelling clay and plasticine using the new structure boards from Eberhard Faber. The extra-deep imprints guarantee an impressive result, while the structure plates can also be laid side by side seamlessly, even on larger work surfaces, to create a perfect pattern.

Simply place the structure plates on the prepared modelling clay and press down with the acrylic roller or by hand – and the decorative pattern is complete. The structures can be emphasised with a more attractive finish by using special-effect powder or an antique-effect medium.

Simply roll out the modelling clay or plasticine, cut out the required shape, then create the perfect design using the Sculpey Style & Detail Set. Finally, you can light up your design by applying a gloss lacquer. Super Sculpey modelling clay is ideal for very detailed and precise work – for example, when modelling dolls-heads and body parts or also for detailed parts in model making.

Super Sculpey is only available in skin tone, it hardens to a semi-transparent finish and then has a ceramic-like structure. Once hardened, the models and solid and break-resistant. Yet there are still no limits to the imagination: Cutting, sanding or drilling, sticking, painting and lacquering put the final touches to the special artwork.
